Hi, my name is Alaya, owner of Lay Naturals. After experiencing womb complications of my own including PCOS, I turned to contraception for help only to find out later that it caused my womb issues to worsen. Eager to heal my womb, I switched over to a holistic lifestyle, changing my diet and studying herbalism. I reversed my womb issues and became passionate to help other women take back their power and heal their wombs. I am now a certified doula assisting women in every stage on their journey to motherhood including fertility, conception, pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I am so grateful that my experience has led me here. I am also a licensed massage therapist specializing in prenatal massage.

Hi!! My name is Enjoli. I am a wife, dog mom, and nanny.. I love plants but have a hard time keeping them alive...lol. I love a good book, worship music, and a bathtub full of bubbles. I am in grad school working on my master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. In my free time, you can find me in my PJs curled up with a good book in bed, spending time with my husband, and/ or at church serving. My love language is physical touch and quality time. These are great for getting to know and supporting my clients during births. I am excited to offer birth support, postpartum support, and placenta encapsulation. If you are looking for a doula, I'd love to support you and your growing family!!
Enjoli is calm, soothing, attentive, supportive, sweet, and funny! She was exactly the support I needed during pregnancy, on delivery day for a scheduled C-section, and postpartum. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, competent, and patient. She helped me cope with stressors all throughout and was a better support person and coach for our breastfeeding journey than the lactation consultant in the hospital! She skillfully helped us all learn how to nurse and get a good latch. She was also so helpful in providing care for our newborn while we slept uninterrupted for a few hours—much needed!! So glad we found Enjoli! She made a huge difference, especially for two new parents!

Hey y’all! My name is Aubrey. I’m a San Antonio doula and birth photographer, living in Bulverde with my husband, three kids, and our three fur babies. I received a BA in International Studies and a Masters in Education, which I used to become a middle school World Cultures teacher. Throughout my journey to motherhood, I’ve developed a passion for empowering others on their parenthood journey to make informed decisions and never settle for care that is anything less than exceptional. As a lover of world cultures, I have found an interest in learning how birth is viewed around the world and how parents are cared for postpartum - and then applying the best of those practices to the birth and postpartum care I provide. As someone who appreciates and celebrates what makes each of us unique, I also celebrate the fact that every family will have its own unique birthing preferences and parenting preferences. I hope that I can help support you and your choices as you take on this next chapter of life.

Hello! I'm Madison, I'm a trained Birth and Postpartum Doula and am in the process of becoming certified so that I can accept insurance such as Tricare. I am located in San Antonio and serve all of San Antonio and the surrounding communities. I'm passionate about supporting families through one of the most transformative experiences of their lives: childbirth. As a doula, I provide comprehensive support to expectant mothers and their partners before, during, and after childbirth, including invaluable postpartum care. My journey into doula work began after I had my 3rd child and had the amazing opportunity to have a doula for her birth. It made such a difference in my birth experience and helped me avoid having another traumatic birthing experience. Since then, I've dedicated myself to empowering birthing individuals to make informed decisions about their care and to advocate for their birth preferences. I specialize in military family births and postpartum because I was a military spouse and know the hardships that come along with it. In addition to offering emotional and physical support during labor, I also specialize in postpartum care, recognizing the importance of nurturing and assisting families in the delicate weeks following childbirth. From providing breastfeeding support and assisting with newborn care to offering practical assistance with household tasks, I aim to ease the transition into parenthood and ensure that families feel supported and cared for during this vulnerable time. I believe that postpartum support is just as vital as prenatal and birth support, and I'm committed to providing compassionate care that honors the unique needs of each family. Whether you're navigating the challenges of breastfeeding, struggling with postpartum mood disorders, or simply in need of a listening ear and a helping hand, I'm here to offer nonjudgmental support and guidance every step of the way. If you're interested in learning more about how I can support you during your pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum journey, please don't hesitate to reach out. I would be honored to be a part of your birthing team.
Madison is wonderful! She’s helped me tremendously with my baby. She’s very knowledgable, dependable, considerate, and just genuinely cares about the family she’s helping. I’m so thankful to have found her and have her help.

I am Rebecca a mother of 6. I am a Childbirth teacher for the last 11 years and a Doula for 10. I have always taken a natural approach to things. As I have studied and learned more, I have made changes to my life and the way I do things. I became a Bradley teacher and started Doula Training and continued to expand my education shortly after. It fit nicely with my husband's Bowen Therapy, so we decided to work together helping others with all the things we struggled with and needed help with as parents. Every service I offer is something I needed in my life as a parent and had to piece together from multiple people and professionals. i want to make the community better and hopefully that will ripple outward and change other's lives too. I struggled to be able to afford my Bradley classes and Doula so I decided to make all my services as cost effective as I could for my clients.

Hello, my name is Martha J. I am a Certified Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) with over 24 years of hands-on experience supporting families since 2000. I am deeply drawn to this work because I value the family environment and the critical role of care during the earliest days after birth. I provide emotional and practical support to parents both individually and as a couple, helping them navigate the transition with confidence and calm. Supporting mothers during the first weeks postpartum is a true calling for me. Caring for the newborn while parents recover from the long, demanding hours of labor, whether in a hospital setting or following a home birth, is work I find meaningful. I am experienced in breastfeeding support, including baby latching, milk production, expression, safe milk storage, and bottle feeding. I closely monitor the baby’s well-being, bringing the baby to the mother for feedings, changing diapers, swaddling, and supporting healthy sleep routines. I maintain clear daily communication with parents regarding their baby’s care and development. Additional responsibilities include washing pump accessories and bottles, wipes and diapers, diaper cream, etc., refills, light nursery tidying, and newborn laundry. My goal is to create a stable, supportive environment in which both parents and baby can rest, recover, and bond.
Wonderful nanny. Bi-lingual and super friendly.

Hey there, I'm Megan Taylor. Let me give you a peek into who I am and what I'm all about. My journey into lactation support and doula work has been a blend of personal experience and professional dedication. After witnessing the challenges many new mothers face with breastfeeding, both through my own journey and while serving families as a doula, I realized the critical need for better support systems, especially here in San Antonio. I am an IBCLC, birth and postpartum doula, and Certified Childbirth Educator. I have specific training in Low Milk Supply and Reflex-based Oral Function. I'm also proud to hold certifications as a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, and Certified Childbirth Educator. What drives me in this work is the opportunity to meet families where they are, to share in their challenges and victories. Beyond the cute babies (though they're a definite bonus!), it's those "me too" moments, those shared experiences, that fuel my passion. In my practice, I take a "wholistic" approach, ensuring that both the breastfeeding person and baby receive comprehensive care tailored to their unique needs. I firmly believe in instilling confidence in mothers, providing practical support, and connecting families with the resources they need to thrive. When a mother feels uncertain or overwhelmed, I strive to validate her feelings and break down the care plan into manageable steps. It's all about empowering resilience and offering support that meets families where they are. As for techniques, I'm a big believer in the basics: skin-to-skin contact, innate feeding reflexes, and yes, even a "nipple spa day" to promote healing and comfort. Outside of my professional role, you'll find me soaking up quality time with my family, buried in a good book, or indulging in some reality TV escapism. I might joke that I'm more of an “indoorsy” type, but I cherish our outdoor adventures just as much. In the words of Amethyst Joy, "Postpartum is a quest back to yourself. Alone in your body again. You will never be the same. You are stronger than you were." It's a sentiment that resonates deeply with me as I walk alongside families on their journeys through birth, postpartum, and breastfeeding.

Hello, I'm Krysta Paulo, BSN, RN, IBCLC, and I'm honored to journey alongside families as they navigate the beautiful, sometimes challenging, world of breastfeeding. For the past four years, I've poured my heart into lactation support, drawing from a rich background in psychology and nursing. My journey into lactation consulting began during my time as a Mother/Baby and NICU RN, where I found myself drawn to the intricacies of breastfeeding. Witnessing the profound bond that forms between mother and baby during these tender moments ignited a passion within me to offer unwavering support to breastfeeding families. My approach to lactation support is grounded in a belief in individualized care and empowerment. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, I work closely with each family to create a plan that aligns with their unique goals and values. Whether it's virtual visits or in-person consultations, I meet families where they are, ensuring that their concerns, preferences, and aspirations guide our journey together. What I find most rewarding about supporting breastfeeding families is witnessing that magical moment when it all clicks - when a mother fully embraces her role and settles into her new identity with confidence and grace. It's a moment I cherish deeply, knowing that I've played a part in fostering that connection. Outside of my professional role, I find immense joy in being a mother and a small business owner. Creativity fuels my spirit, whether I'm working on projects with my Cricut or exploring the great outdoors. As for breastfeeding, it's not just a job for me - it's a deeply personal journey. Becoming a mother myself after becoming an IBCLC opened my eyes to the profound bond it creates between mother and infant. It's a sacred, irreplaceable connection that I wish every mother could experience. In the breastfeeding journey, I believe that the role of other family members, whether it's partners, grandparents, or siblings, is invaluable. Their support and understanding can make all the difference, providing a strong foundation of encouragement for the breastfeeding dyad. When a mother feels uncertain or overwhelmed about breastfeeding, I offer reassurance and guidance, reminding her that breastfeeding can look different for every mother and baby. Together, we explore communication signals and techniques that resonate with her unique situation, empowering her to trust her instincts and find her rhythm. As for techniques or methods, I advocate for a baby-led approach, embracing the natural instincts of both mother and infant. It's a journey of discovery and connection, guided by love and trust. In essence, my role as an IBCLC isn't just about offering lactation support - it's about nurturing relationships, fostering empowerment, and celebrating the beautiful bond between mother and baby. And I consider it a true privilege to be a part of each family's breastfeeding journey.

Hello! I'm Miranda Perotti, a dedicated IBCLC, BSN, RN. As a lactation consultant, I've embarked on a journey fueled by my passion for supporting breastfeeding families and empowering them to achieve their feeding goals. With a background in nursing from Abilene Christian University, I bring nine years of invaluable experience in the Women's Health field, evolving from a labor and delivery nurse to an IVF nurse coordinator, and finally finding my calling as a lactation consultant after the birth of my first daughter. My journey into lactation consulting was inspired by the incredible support I received from my own IBCLC during my breastfeeding journey. Facing numerous challenges early on, her knowledge and guidance were pivotal in helping me navigate through the hurdles. Now, I'm driven by the desire to pay it forward and assist other families in their feeding journeys with the same level of care and expertise that I received. With a holistic approach to lactation support, I believe in the power of knowledge and support above all else. Less is more, and I strive to empower families with the confidence and skills they need to succeed without relying on unnecessary accessories or interventions. What I find most rewarding about supporting breastfeeding families is witnessing the joy and fulfillment when they meet or exceed their original feeding goals. I tailor my support to meet the unique needs and preferences of each family. By understanding their daily life, work, cultural practices, and family dynamics, I develop personalized plans that are realistic and achievable. When mothers feel uncertain or overwhelmed about breastfeeding, I offer a compassionate ear and work collaboratively to navigate through the challenges. I often recommend the Koala hold, laid-back feeding, or biologic nursing, as I've seen firsthand how these approaches can facilitate efficient feeding even in the face of early difficulties. Drawing from my own breastfeeding journey, which included experiences with preterm birth, a NICU stay, oral restrictions, and feeding success despite the hurdles, I offer reassurance and support to parents, reminding them that their current struggles are temporary and that brighter days lie ahead. Outside of my professional role, I find solace and rejuvenation in outdoor activities like gardening, camping, and hiking. I also love to try new foods! Join me on this transformative journey, where together, we can navigate through the challenges and celebrate the triumphs of breastfeeding parenthood!
