I received a BA in International Studies and a Masters in Education, which I used to become a middle school World Cultures teacher. Throughout my journey to motherhood, I’ve developed a passion for empowering others on their parenthood journey to make informed decisions and never settle for care that is anything less than exceptional. As a lover of world cultures, I have found an interest in learning how birth is viewed around the world and how parents are cared for postpartum - and then applying the best of those practices to the birth and postpartum care I provide. I am Rebecca a mother of 6. I am a Childbirth teacher for the last 11 years and a Doula for 10. I have always taken a natural approach to things. As I have studied and learned more, I have made changes to my life and the way I do things. I became a Bradley teacher and started Doula Training and continued to expand my education shortly after. It fit nicely with my husband's Bowen Therapy, so we decided to work together helping others with all the things we struggled with and needed help with as parents. Every service I offer is something I needed in my life as a parent and had to piece together from multiple people and professionals. i want to make the community better and hopefully that will ripple outward and change other's lives too. Hello, my name is Martha J. I am a Certified Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) with over 24 years of hands-on experience supporting families since 2000. I am deeply drawn to this work because I value the family environment and the critical role of care during the earliest days after birth. I provide emotional and practical support to parents both individually and as a couple, helping them navigate the transition with confidence and calm. Supporting mothers during the first weeks postpartum is a true calling for me. Caring for the newborn while parents recover from the long, demanding hours of labor, whether in a hospital setting or following a home birth, is work I find meaningful. I am experienced in breastfeeding support, including baby latching, milk production, expression, safe milk storage, and bottle feeding. I closely monitor the baby’s well-being, bringing the baby to the mother for feedings, changing diapers, swaddling, and supporting healthy sleep routines. I maintain clear daily communication with parents regarding their baby’s care and development. Additional responsibilities include washing pump accessories and bottles, wipes and diapers, diaper cream, etc., refills, light nursery tidying, and newborn laundry. My goal is to create a stable, supportive environment in which both parents and baby can rest, recover, and bond.

Hello! My name is Valerie, but most people call me Val. I am a licensed Registered Nurse located Northeast of Austin, TX. I initially obtained my license in the state of California, but endorsed it to Texas once I moved. I have always been fascinated with birth and the women’s body. Labor & Delivery was my favorite clinical throughout nursing school, however the pandemic hit right when I was in the middle of school and that affected how I wanted to move forward in my career. It wasn’t until after giving birth myself, along with having a traumatic labor and delivery that I was 100% certain this was the area of work that truly felt most passionate about and is right for me. I am focused on gaining more experience at the bedside during birth and to continue learning from mentors. I am confident with the right circumstances, environment and support that birth can be one of the most beautiful and powerful things you’ll get to experience and I would love nothing more than to be apart of that. During my free time I enjoy playing with my 18 month old, soon I’ll be chasing around 2 boys come January, making sourdough bread, and spending quality time with my husband.
