We also took her childbirth class, which was great. The day of my birth she was spectacular, providing physical support, information, and overall just a wonderful addition to our birth space. Of course we went on to hire her for our 2nd and 3rd births and the support we received was always exceptional. Shakira was truly the most attentive, involved and helpful person through my pregnancy and birthing journey. I only wish we had more time with her through the process and didn’t find her so late in y pregnancy. After waiting and passing my babies initial birth date, Shakira worked with me and got my water to brea and the labor going. I went through labor at the birth center and she was literally with me every step just as exhausted and then I was transferred to the hospital where she continued to assist through my labor and birthing up until I needed to have a c section. This is my first baby and I went through so many obstacles and mostly the opposite of everything I wanted to happen but can say that Shakira was one of the best parts. I’d 100% suggest you trust her to help you through this journey. If I were to have another child, I would deff be giving her a call. 🩷
