I’ve been married for eight years and have been in San Antonio for about a year and a half. I have two dogs, and ten nieces and nephews. I also really enjoy rescuing and fostering dogs until they can make it to their furever home. I love reading and Netflix binge sessions. I’m a water fanatic and enjoy all things lake, river, and beach. I have been a registered nurse for five years now. While gaining experience doing medsurg/telemetry nursing I kept applying for labor & delivery and postpartum. When an opportunity opened in San Antonio, my husband and I left our friends in KY so I could follow my passion. We’ve been here a year and a half, and it’s everything I’d imagined and more. I love all things squishy babies!! I spent my first two weeks of life in the NICU so I’ve grown up believing in the miracle of birth and the fragility of the first days of life. My first experience with labor & delivery and postpartum began during a high school internship. I realized right away what I wanted to do with my life. I am here because I love supporting families in such an incredible time of growth. I find all things pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum truly incredible. I think our bodies are a wonder and I really enjoy being a part of the process. The thing I enjoy the most about being a postpartum nurse is supporting mamas. I take so much pleasure in encouraging moms. It really is so rewarding seeing a mom truly gain confidence and I like that I get to play a part in supporting them to get there. I also love all things babies. I love baths, feedings, soothing and all the snuggles. I have NICU nursing experience and have developed skills feeding babies who are poor eaters.
