Hello, I am a mom and lawyer, soon to be living in poway, and due for a c-section with my second on December 18. I am a solo practitioner and am hoping to have some help with the newborn night phase to ensure I am able to function during the day, especially after the first few weeks when I will need to work at least part time to manage existing client cases. My husband is currently on a combat deployment with the Navy. He is supposed to return home before the baby arrives, but there is a chance he will not be here, so I feel a lot of pressure to schedule supports where possible. I am seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced night nanny who can kindly care for my newborn girl while also providing emotional/physical support for me, as I will be having a c section and breastfeeding. I am looking forward to hearing from and hopefully meeting folks who will have availability. I do not expect to need someone the very second we get home from the hospital, since that timeline is hard to predict, but I am hoping to have someone who can step in after Christmas and for about five weeks after (5 nights a week). This my first baby. I would like to birth at home and in case of emergency help with a transfer to the local hospital and be present for the birth. I have a full birth plan that intend on discussing with my midwife but that's the basics of it. Preferably I'd love a midwife that's holistic and medically trained. I would love if they took insurance but if not my budget is $3,500. If a payment plan is available I would love that. I am currently 10 weeks along with no complications so far.
