Hello, good afternoon. My name is Tania Montenegro, and I am currently pregnant and living in Vallejo, California. I have Medi-Cal coverage, and I am reaching out because I am looking for prenatal and birth support that is culturally respectful, trauma-informed, and centered around human connection and traditional care. I am originally from Guatemala, and it is very important to me to find a midwife, doula, or care provider who understands or respects Indigenous and culturally rooted approaches to pregnancy and birth. If possible, I would especially appreciate support from an Indigenous, Native, Black, Latina, or BIPOC provider, or someone with experience working with Indigenous Latin American women and migrant communities. I also want to share that I have experienced two previous pregnancy losses: one in 2021 at approximately 5 months of pregnancy, and another in 2025 at approximately 3 months. Because of these experiences, I am hoping to find care that feels emotionally supportive, respectful, and safe throughout this pregnancy. I would like to ask: Do you accept Medi-Cal? Do you offer midwifery or doula services? Do you have Spanish-speaking providers? Do you have providers with experience supporting Indigenous or culturally diverse families? Do you offer home birth, birth center support, or holistic prenatal care? Do you provide emotional and postpartum support as well? Thank you very much for your time and care. I would deeply appreciate any information, guidance, or referrals you may be able to offer. Warmly, Tania 650 201 7448 bosqueazul2017@gmail.com
We are looking for a Midwife (CNM or CPM) near Hollister, California, that is certified to do Home Births. Our budget is flexible. Ideally, we are seeking a Christian provider, though that is not a requirement. We are hoping to have as natural a birth as possible with minimal interventions and testing throughout pregnancy. We look forward to hearing from you :)

This is my first pregnancy and I'm unsure where I want to give birth. I've always wanted to do an unmedicated home birth if able. My estimated budget is about $5000. I do not have a birth plan in place yet, that's part of what I want help with. I would like for the person to have multiple years of experience. I am 23 years old and would like someone who also helps to do a lot of educating for my husband and I since neither of us know much about this yet.
I need someone who I actually have a connection with & also help me with understand the symptoms I’m going through & help me have an easy birth.
