I am Camila, founder of Sweet Tangerine Newborn Care. I am originally from Brazil and first moved to the U. S. as an Au Pair, but my story as a caregiver didn't start there. I've been working with children since 2011 when I started teaching preschool. Since then, I have always been involved in the area of education and child care. When I moved to San Francisco, I also had the opportunity to work as a nanny taking care of infants and toddlers. Being around babies and kids, and teaching them to develop and become amazing humans is a big part of me. I have dedicated myself to learning more and specializing in newborn care, which is the area that I love the most, especially now that I became a mom myself. Additional to my vast experience, I have a Master's degree in education science and many complementary courses in the area, such as Newborn Care Specialist, CPR, and first AID.

Shortly thereafter, I returned to the New York publishing and theater world, later moved to British Columbia to pursue degrees and a career in arts education, birthed my two favorite humans, and then moved to the Bay Area, California, where I was welcomed into the Jewish professional community.
