Milati cared for our newborn son for 6 weeks and was such a huge help for us at night. She especially was helpful around the 6 week mark when our son was very fussy and was up frequently in the night. Milati would rock him and sing to him to soothe him. She also was able to help us with some chores when he was sleeping, which was really appreciated. I definitely recommend Milati!

Hi, I’m Rhonda! I’m a Certified Birth Doula and Maternal-Child Health Nurse with 10 years of experience in Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby care. I became a doula two years ago after seeing how much families benefit from calm, compassionate support during birth and postpartum. My goal is to create a peaceful, nurturing space where parents feel informed, cared for, and confident. Based in the Bay Area, I serve Emeryville and surrounding communities. I’m also a proud mom of three grown children and love reading, exploring California, and spending time with my family. Calm nights. Compassionate care. With loving hands. 🤍

I am so grateful I met Rhonda. Before meeting her, I honestly had no idea what a doula did or what postpartum care really looked like. This was my first baby, and I had the privilege of meeting Rhonda even before she was born while I was hospitalized with PPROM. From the start, Rhonda went above and beyond. She took incredible care of me, advocated for me when things didn’t seem right, and always made sure my voice was heard. I looked forward to seeing her because I knew she would listen, explain everything clearly, and bring a sense of calm when I felt anxious or uncertain. Once my baby came home, Rhonda continued to support us through postpartum care, helping us adjust to our new routine. As a first-time mom, my anxiety was through the roof, but Rhonda made me feel confident and reassured. She walked me through every detail, from safe sleep and sponge baths to proper latching and feeding. She even stayed overnight to help with newborn care, and though I had a little separation anxiety, I knew my baby was in the very best hands while I got some much needed rest. I can’t imagine going through this journey without her. Going forward, I’ll never do another pregnancy without a doula — and especially not without Rhonda. She was there for me every step of the way, before and after birth, and made my entire experience one I’ll always cherish.

We’ve been so lucky to have Gabi as our newborn doula, providing both day and night support since our daughter was six weeks old. From the start, Gabi has been incredibly thoughtful, knowledgeable, and caring - not just with our daughter but with our whole family as we’ve adjusted to life with a new baby. Consultant. Doula. Mama. Twenty+ years ago, I ran into a college acquaintance at a friends' wedding. She told me she was a Doula. It was the first I'd ever heard of it. Shortly thereafter, I returned to the New York publishing and theater world, later moved to British Columbia to pursue degrees and a career in arts education, birthed my two favorite humans, and then moved to the Bay Area, California, where I was welcomed into the Jewish professional community. Throughout my movement in these roles, I never stopped thinking about what life would be like as a Doula. It took some time, but here I am, pursuing a decades-long dream. And when I'm not reminiscing about my own transformational career path, or working with growing families across the Bay Area, I'm still singing my children to sleep (even the one who's now taller than me).

Sarah swooped in to help us with our twin boys two days and two nights per week. She was a breath of fresh for these two tired parents! Sarah's nurturing spirit, organizational skills, and general joy was such a relief in our home. I also learned a lot in watching her care for the boys. The twins blossomed in her care as she seamlessly juggled two babies at once. We miss her, but she has left her mark on our family!

Josy helped us care for our newborn daughter in the weeks after her birth. She did an amazing job of caring for our daughter. Josy was always highly professional, kind, empathetic, punctual, and helpful. She was able to give us tips and advice while also giving us much-needed rest during both daytime and nighttime shifts. I am Camila, founder of Sweet Tangerine Newborn Care. I am originally from Brazil and first moved to the U. S. as an Au Pair, but my story as a caregiver didn't start there. I've been working with children since 2011 when I started teaching preschool. Since then, I have always been involved in the area of education and child care. When I moved to San Francisco, I also had the opportunity to work as a nanny taking care of infants and toddlers. Being around babies and kids, and teaching them to develop and become amazing humans is a big part of me. I have dedicated myself to learning more and specializing in newborn care, which is the area that I love the most, especially now that I became a mom myself. Additional to my vast experience, I have a Master's degree in education science and many complementary courses in the area, such as Newborn Care Specialist, CPR, and first AID.

We are so grateful for the support Camila provided as our postpartum doula. She is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, which gave us so much peace of mind as new parents. Thanks to her help, we were able to get great nights of rest knowing our baby was in expert hands. Camila went above and beyond to set us up for success. She provided us with a baby feeding and sleeping schedule—both day and night—that gave us a clear framework to follow for our child’s healthy growth. She also taught us many little tricks and soothing techniques that our baby really enjoys, which have made daily care so much easier. On top of that, she shared valuable guidance on breastfeeding and latching, which made a big difference in our confidence and comfort. Beyond her care, Camila always took the time to explain what she was doing and why, making sure we felt prepared to take things on our own. Her calm presence, thoughtful teaching, and genuine care made all the difference in those early weeks. We recommend Camila without a doubt to any family looking for postpartum support—she’s truly wonderful.

We hired Anabelle as a postpartum night doula for the first few weeks after my daughter’s birth back in April. We were very happy with her service and found her to be trustworthy and reliable. She always showed up right on time and did a great job with taking care of my daughter’s night time feeds, putting her to sleep, diaper changes and washing my breast pump and bottle parts. Thanks to her I was able to catch up on some much needed sleep after knowing that my daughter was in good hands. We even extended our contract with her for a few more weeks. However, as she was traveling and had a contract with another family that was coming up she asked if it was okay to send her backup instead for those weeks. We really liked her backup Elida as well and don’t have any complaints about her service either. Overall I would recommend her (and her amazing backup) to any family looking for a good night doula!

Wouldn't have survived the first year of parenthood without Katie. Her expertise is only matched by her sense of calm. She got my baby sleeping through the night faster than I could have imagined and 2 years later we haven't had a single regression. She walked us through potty training – one of the more stressful parenting situations I've encountered – and helped us cross every potty milestone. Couldn't recommend her more.
