After studying pre-med at Columbia University, I found my true calling in birthwork, becoming a doula so that I could provide unwavering support to women as they navigate the transformative steps of having a child. Unlike other doulas, I bring a strong background in healthcare working in acute hospitals in the nursing department. Although I am not a nurse, my background includes ER, ICU, medicine & surgery, mental health, rehabilitation and post rehab. I am also trained as a medication technician which allows me to understand the different types of medications that are given to patients in hospitals.
