Hello, and Welcome! I’m Valerie Lynn, a certified postpartum doula and certified in holistic postpartum recovery practices specializing in providing comprehensive night and day support to families as they transition into parenthood. With over 20 years of experience in Southeast Asia, I bring the wisdom of Eastern postpartum recovery practices directly to your home. Night Support I provide specialized night support focused on nurturing baby care and sleep conditioning. My goal is to empower parents to recognize when their baby is ready to self-soothe, fostering independent sleep habits that help your baby achieve 8 to 10 hours of restful sleep by three months. For mothers, I offer calming lactation support to ensure that night feeds are smooth and restful, promoting a more peaceful night's sleep for everyone. Day Support My day support combines expert baby care, lactation assistance, and holistic recovery services for mothers. These services are tailored to support both vaginal and cesarean births, helping to accelerate recovery. • For Vaginal and Cesarean Births: My holistic postpartum services include soothing body massage to reduce fluid retention in the abdomen, reset the nervous system, balance postpartum hormones, and improve breast milk production. I also offer specialized abdominal wrapping and nutritious meal preparation. • You can wrap after Cesarean Births: I use a unique abdominal wrap that protects your incision while encouraging fluid release and comfort. My clients love the gentle support it provides. Combination of Night and Day Support For the ultimate in care, you can combine night and day support. This approach ensures you get the rest you need while accelerating your recovery by up to 40% faster than typical U.S. standards. Prenatal Services Our holistic care can begin during pregnancy to alleviate common discomforts such as back pain, joint aches, and swelling caused by fluid retention. Through targeted treatments, we help you feel more comfortable and supported throughout your pregnancy journey. Postpartum Emotions I understand firsthand how overwhelming postpartum emotions can be. After the birth of my son 17 years ago, I faced postpartum anxiety and OCD. Through a combination of holistic recovery services and in-home support services, I found my way back to balance. For over 15 years, I've been the International Coordinator for Southeast Asia with Postpartum Support International, and I am deeply committed to helping others through their own postpartum journeys with empathy, understanding, and care. You don’t have to face this alone—I’m here to support you every step of the way. Valerie is so kind and thoughtful. I really appreciated my time with Valerie and her services were great! Being 6 weeks postpartum and taking care of a newborn, she was great at working around my schedule. Having Valerie was a way to not only focus on my postpartum recovery but also mentally recovery as well. Her wraps really helped me shed some water weight and made my stomach feel so much better after my c-section. Valerie is amazing at what she does and you will not be disappointed.

As a Doula and birth worker, I'm committed to supporting you physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I've given birth to two beautiful babies (who are now grown/and almost grown) and I could not have done it without my doula. I have a Bachelors of Science in Human Environmental Sciences – which equates to commercial interior design - but childbirth is my passion. I have been teaching childbirth classes in The Bradley Method ® in Long Beach, California since 2011. In 2012, I became a certified Doula and have since had the honor of witnessing over 350 births. It is my goal to empower women and their partners, through positive education, to give birth in the most natural way possible. The benefits of a natural birth are countless and the value to the birthing parent, baby, and the family unit, are immeasurable. Bradley Method ® classes provide a safe place for parents to explore their options, and weigh the benefits and risks of interventions with which they may be presented, prior to arriving at the labor and delivery room. A doula added to that formula elevates the experience, improving outcomes and birth satisfaction. Education and Experience: • Certified Doula since 2012 (The VBACLink cert in 2019) • Affiliated Bradley Method® Instructor since 2011 • Evidence Based Birth® Instructor since 2018 • B.S. in Human Environmental Sciences, 1996 I'd love to help you advocate for whatever kind of birth YOU want.

Having Lia as a part of my birth team was beyond invaluable and I wish everyone could have Lia in their corner! I was fortunate to have her by my side through two pregnancies and natural unmedicated births as my doula. During my first pregnancy, my husband and I decided to take her Bradley Class in order to prepare for birth (highly recommend!). I didn’t originally have an intention of pursuing a natural unmedicated birth, but a few class sessions in and I was determined to make that happen. I knew I needed Lia as my doula in order to have that extra support and reassurance. Her knowledge and way of communicating all the information around pregnancy, birth, and most importantly advocacy, is that of an expert. Lia made me feel completely supported and empowered to stand firm in my birth goals and do anything and everything needed to put myself in the best possible position to achieve them including when I decided to switch providers late in both pregnancies as they were trying to force unnecessary inductions. She responded to every phone call, text message, and email throughout my pregnancies and even postpartum extremely quickly and helped me calmly navigate the medical system that can be difficult when wanting to go into spontaneous labor. During labor, Lia acted asupported both me and my husband as well as did ALL the things like providing counter pressure, ensuring I stayed hydrated, a barrier to my laborland bubble with hospital staff, etc. I can undoubtedly say that my outcomes would have been much different without her guidance, expertise, and encouragement. If you are thinking about hiring Lia as your doula or taking her class, do both!!

I am a DONA certified and Medi-Cal approved birth doula and mother of two. I believe birth is a natural physiological process, and a sacred passage: for mother, parents, baby, and family. I understand pregnancy and childbirth to be a deeply transformative time. As a Christian, I celebrate every baby born into the world as a unique and precious gift from God. My passion to become a birth doula grew from witnessing my nephew's birth and then having two boys of my own. Like many women, I was fearful of childbirth due to my limited understanding. Birth was rarely talked about by the women in my life and if it was, pain was typically the main subject. Watching my nephew’s birth showed me that birth can be beautiful. I believe that as women, our bodies were designed by God to birth well. While complications do happen, they are not the rule. Birth is a natural physiological process. It is hard work and can be uncomfortable or painful, but that is not all. Birth is a transformative, life changing experience no matter how it happens: unmedicated or medicated, vaginal or cesarean, home birth, birth center, or hospital.

Hello, and welcome. My name is Adriana, and I have spent over 15 years supporting children and families through some of life’s most important stages. My background includes child development, behavioral support, early intervention, newborn care, and working closely with families to create environments where children can thrive. I believe every child is unique and deserves care that is responsive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate. My approach is rooted in patience, consistency, and building strong relationships with both children and parents. Whether I am caring for a newborn overnight, supporting a family’s routine, or helping a child reach developmental milestones, my goal is always to provide compassionate, attentive care while giving parents peace of mind. My professional experience includes working with children of all ages and abilities, supporting children with varying developmental needs, and collaborating closely with families to ensure continuity of care. I also completed internships at Hoag Hospital, where I gained valuable experience supporting mothers, newborns, and families during the early stages of a child’s life. Families often describe me as calm, dependable, warm, and attentive. I understand the trust involved in inviting someone into your home and caring for your child, and I take that responsibility seriously. I strive to create a safe, loving environment where children feel secure and parents feel supported. I look forward to learning about your family and how I can help support your child’s growth, development, and well-being.

Adriana cared for our daughter from infancy through toddlerhood, and we could not have asked for a better caregiver. She became an extension of our family and brought consistency, patience, and genuine care into our home every day. What impressed us most was her understanding of child development and her ability to meet our daughter where she was while helping her continue to grow. We trusted her completely and are incredibly grateful for the years she spent with our family. We still keep in touch and she recently celebrated our daughter’s 5th birthday with us. Highly recommend

I help new parents feel calmer, more confident, and less overwhelmed in the early weeks with their baby—especially around feeding. As a board-certified lactation consultant and newborn care specialist, I offer clear, evidence-based guidance paired with a steady, intuitive approach that helps you trust your body, your baby, and your decisions.

For any interested expecting Mama’s; don’t hesitate. If you’re looking at this it’s probably because you are considering a Lactation Consultant. Please set yourself and your baby up for success with Evonne. I had a discovery call with Evonne about 10 days before I gave birth and then saw her a handful of times after. Breastfeeding is a roller coaster and I honestly would have given up if it weren’t for Evonne. She helped with getting my baby to latch comfortably and also helped with bodywork and her neck tension. Evonne has such a calm and nurturing approach to her care. She even helped me learn the best ways to encourage my baby to sleep and massages to help with constipation. Before seeing Evonne, my baby girl had lost 8% of her body weight in the first few days but after just one appointment with Evonne, she “overachieved” on getting back on track. Shes growing so well now! We also saw Hideko for a bodywork session and she was so gentle and amazing at explaining to us everything that she was noticing. She gave us homework to help our baby also and we saw the difference in just a few days. Our baby became so much more comfortable. Both Evonne and Hideko are so flexible with in-office offerings, home visits and virtual follow-ups. They provided so much information and tutorials also to review. My family and I are so beyond grateful to Evonne and Hideko. You are in amazing hands with them!

We were incredibly fortunate to have Niomi care for our two children from ages 5-2 Her patience seemed endless, and she always treated our kids with such love and genuine care. It was clear she wasn't just watching them, but truly invested in their well-being and happiness. Beyond the basics, Niomi always went the extra mile. She planned engaging activities, from arts and crafts to outdoor games, that kept our children entertained and helped them learn. Meal times were always healthy and fun, and she was great at handling the usual kid-related messes and tantrums with grace and humor. Knowing our kids were in such capable and loving hands gave us immense peace of mind. Niomi is more than just a nanny; she became a part of our family, and we highly recommend her to anyone seeking exceptional childcare.
