My journey as a labor doula began in 2021, driven by a deep passion for supporting families during one of life’s most transformative moments. With a strong foundation in newborn and infant care since 2015, I feel truly honored to walk alongside parents as they welcome their little ones into the world. My background includes working as a Floortime therapist for children with ASD, serving as an after-school program director, and capturing magical memories as a photographer at Disneyland. Yet, nothing compares to the profound joy of hearing a baby's heartbeat on a monitor and then witnessing their first cries as they enter the world. I am committed to continuous learning and aspire to expand my expertise as a postpartum doula and grief/death doula, ensuring I can provide compassionate care at every stage of the journey.

After having 6 home births of my own, I knew that I wanted to help other families have beautiful birth & postpartum experiences. I used Hypnobirthing methods for all of my own births. In 2011 I was trained as a (DONA international) Doula. Since then I was trained in Hypnobirthing methods, Belly binding, Abhyanga massage, natural doctoring, and other holistic practices. I have attended many different types of births, including hospital, home and birthing center births. I also offer in person and virtual child birth education and preparation. I’m a wife and mom and I’ve been a photographer for 20+ years. Photographing newborns and families as they grow is truly my happy place. I feel that all my life experience has led me to this work and it’s incredibly satisfying. I am passionate about capturing those moments before they fly by. Because they go by so quickly! As a mother of 3 I totally get it. Family life is busy and we need things to be as low key and efficient as possible. I try to make your time in front of my camera LOW STRESS - and hopefully we can have some fun along the way! I like to let the siblings enjoy themselves and feel included in this special time. I like to get the newbies all milk drunk and sleepy so we can stare at them in awe. Mostly, I like to get everyone - young and old - to connect and laugh and remember the real reasons we get up and do this thing called life. I have photographed hundreds of growing families and it never once gets old. I’ll never lose the awe and the wonder at this beautiful... and sometimes difficult... and definitely transformational journey of self discovery that is parenthood.
