Barbara Boyle

5 years of experience

Hi, I’m Barbara! I’m a certified Newborn Care Specialist (NCS), postpartum doula support provider, and a mom to a toddler girl. With over 5 years of hands-on experience caring for newborns and infants—including children with special needs—I bring both professional knowledge and real-life understanding to every family I support. I specialize in overnight newborn care, helping parents get the rest they need while ensuring their baby is safe, soothed, and well cared for throughout the night. I am experienced with paced bottle feeding, recognizing newborn cues, soothing techniques, and supporting healthy sleep habits from the very beginning. I know how overwhelming the newborn stage can feel, and my goal is to bring a calm, reliable, and nurturing presence into your home so you can feel supported, confident, and truly rest.

There are truly not enough words to express how grateful we are for Barbara. Bringing home a newborn for the second time, I thought I knew what to expect but postpartum is still such a vulnerable, emotional and exhausting season. Having Barbara with our family for the last 2.5 months completely changed our experience in the best possible way. From the very beginning, Barbara brought such a calming, nurturing, and reassuring presence into our home. She cared for our daughter with so much love, gentleness, patience, and attentiveness that it immediately gave me peace as a new postpartum mom. She didn’t just help with our baby but she cared for me, too which is something I will never forget. Barbara has such a gift with newborns and our girl genuinely became a happier, more settled, more content baby under her care and guidance. Barbara helped us establish healthy routines, taught us so many helpful techniques, and always approached everything with such confidence and warmth. Even during hard nights or moments when I felt overwhelmed emotionally or physically, Barbara never made me feel judged or incapable. Instead, she encouraged me, reassured me, and helped build my confidence as a mother during one of the most emotional seasons of life. Because of Barbara, I was able to heal postpartum more peacefully, get more rest, feel more emotionally supported, and truly enjoy these precious newborn months instead of just surviving them. She helped create calm in our home during a time that can otherwise feel chaotic and exhausting. I honestly can say I am a better, stronger, more confident mom because of her support. Not only is Barbara incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but she is also deeply compassionate and intuitive. She became such a trusted part of our family, and having her in our home never once felt intrusive but rather comforting, safe, and supportive. She treated our daughter with the same tenderness and care that family would. Watching someone love and care for your baby in the middle of postpartum is incredibly emotional, and Barbara gave us the greatest gift: peace of mind. Knowing our baby was in such loving, capable hands allowed me to breathe again. We will forever look back on this season with gratitude because of Barbara. Any family would be beyond blessed to have her support during the newborn stage. She is truly exceptional at what she does, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Katherine took care of my sweet baby boy Pete from the first night he was discharged from the CVICU after open heart surgery when he was 2 weeks old until he was 6months old. I had always planned to use a night nurse for the first 8-12 weeks because my husband has a stressful demanding job and is a light sleeper. I knew that we wanted help in getting Pete onto a schedule and to help with sleep training. But after his surgery, I just didn't feel comfortable having "just" a nanny watch him. I was so excited and relieved when I found Katherine. Since she is highly trained as a baby nurse with not only CPR but several other certifications, I felt so comfortable from night one that Pete was in great hands. Originally she was only scheduled 2 nights a week with us as we rotated 3 nannies throughout the week, but very quickly I requested she become our primary nanny and she then worked 4-5 nights a week, which was a dream! Katherine is so knowledgeable and caring - she made me feel so at peace with having a baby with medical needs and being able to care for him on my own during the day. I often would write down random baby questions throughout the day and then as soon as she arrived and Pete was asleep, I'd sit down and pepper her with all my concerns and questions. She was magical in holding my hand when needed, encouraging me that I was enough as a mom always, and always took the time to answer and thoroughly explain any questions on any subject I brought up. She was super flexible as well. She came inearly for date nights, stayed late when I had appointments, and I even took her with us on vacation several times in those first 6months. Having her as a second pair of hands was invaluable! I highly recommend Katherine as an infant nanny, especially if you have a newborn! You will not regret it!

Hello Families, I’m Ellie, a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant and Certified Newborn Sleep Specialist and founder of The Dream Concierge. I provide gentle overnight newborn care, sleep shaping, and parent education designed to help families feel rested, supported, and confident during the early weeks and months of their baby’s life. My approach combines hands-on care with evidence-based practices to help establish healthy sleep foundations and developmentally appropriate routines from the very beginning. Welcoming a new baby or adding another child to your family is a beautiful transition, but it can also bring questions, uncertainty, and exhaustion. My role is to provide calm, consistent support while helping parents better understand their baby’s cues, feeding patterns, sleep needs, and daily rhythms. Through education, guidance, and hands-on care, I help families navigate this season with greater confidence and peace of mind. My support includes overnight newborn care, feeding support, soothing, diapering, and creating age-appropriate routines that encourage healthy sleep habits in a gentle, responsive way. I also guide families through common newborn milestones such as regaining birth weight, establishing full feedings, understanding wake windows, and creating predictable daily rhythms that support both baby and parents. Every family is unique, which is why I tailor my approach to each family’s goals, comfort level, and parenting style. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is building trusting relationships with families and helping them feel more informed, capable, and supported as they adjust to life with their newest addition. As babies grow, I continue to provide gentle sleep shaping and personalized sleep support, helping families build healthy, sustainable sleep habits while remaining responsive to their child’s individual needs. My goal is to help parents feel empowered, well-rested, and confident as they navigate each stage of their baby’s development.

Ellie started caring for our baby when she was just 3 weeks old, and I truly can’t say enough good things about her. As a mom of four, I’ve seen a lot when it comes to childcare, and it was immediately clear that Ellie brought a level of experience, calm, and confidence that’s hard to find. *She needed absolutely no guidance*- it was actually the opposite. She reminded me of things I had forgotten from my previous babies and handled everything with ease and intuition. It felt like she just *knew* what needed to be done. Ellie became part of our routine senamlessly, whether we were at home or even staying in a hotel. She adapted to every setup, and we always felt completely confident that our baby was safe, cared for, and getting meaningful one-on-one time — even when we were busy and pulled in other directions. Looking back, I honestly wish we had brought her in from day one. She was such a steady, loving presence, and any family would be lucky to have her.

When I first became a mom, I never thought I would feel comfortable leaving my baby with someone else, especially during the newborn stage. I was very anxious and had a lot of insecurities. Anna helped me feel calm and confident from the beginning. She was gentle with my baby, always patient, and took the time to explain things when I had questions. Knowing she was there allowed me to get some rest and take care of myself without constantly worrying. Anna helped with overnight newborn care, feedings, diaper changes, soothing, and sleep support. She treated my baby with so much love and care, and I always felt that my baby was safe with her. I am very grateful for the support Anna gave our family and would happily recommend her to any family looking for newborn care or postpartum support.
