Please set yourself and your baby up for success with Evonne. I had a discovery call with Evonne about 10 days before I gave birth and then saw her a handful of times after. Breastfeeding is a roller coaster and I honestly would have given up if it weren’t for Evonne. She helped with getting my baby to latch comfortably and also helped with bodywork and her neck tension. Evonne has such a calm and nurturing approach to her care. She even helped me learn the best ways to encourage my baby to sleep and massages to help with constipation. Before seeing Evonne, my baby girl had lost 8% of her body weight in the first few days but after just one appointment with Evonne, she “overachieved” on getting back on track. Shes growing so well now! We also saw Hideko for a bodywork session and she was so gentle and amazing at explaining to us everything that she was noticing. She gave us homework to help our baby also and we saw the difference in just a few days. Our baby became so much more comfortable. Both Evonne and Hideko are so flexible with in-office offerings, home visits and virtual follow-ups. They provided so much information and tutorials also to review. My family and I are so beyond grateful to Evonne and Hideko. You are in amazing hands with them!

I feel so fortunate that Anita was able to be a part of my birth story. This work seems like a true calling for her. She showed genuine care for my wellbeing — mental, physical, emotional. Before and during labor, she gave me solid guidance without adding any pressure; simply giving me more info so I can better understand advice and options given by my Ob/gyn. Most importantly, she had the right (I called it magical) touch to ease pain and discomfort during labor, and she worked well with the other birth attendants: the medical staff at Sutter, my husband, and my sister. The Procedural Doula support was exactly the service I was looking for, for the hospital birth of my first son. It was just the right amount of help. Anita was there for me a text away in the weeks before labor began. The due date came and went, I was not excited to get induced, and I caught a cold. She eased my anxiety and helped me make informed decisions. During labor and delivery, I already was in pretty good hands - the hospital’s nurses were kind, competent, and helpful, and my husband loving and caring. But Anita made a big difference because I felt such relief when she walked in. I could tell her what I was feeling or needed, and she advocated for me and also looked out for my husband; helped him get rest. She made me feel like whatever I wanted or decided was valid. She also gave insight and suggestions so I could anticipate some of the decisions I might have to make during labor. Anita and the nurses worked together to get me into a position where the baby turned for easier delivery. I am so thankful. I would not hesitate to ask her help again.

If you need sleep, just call them. They’re honestly the best!! Super friendly staff and they’ve been so accommodating whenever things came up. This was my third pregnancy, never had a doula before, and Nicole was one of the first few doulas that reached out to me. From the moment I first spoke to her about doula care and how she would be able to support me in my next pregnancy, I felt that she was the one I wanted to be my doula. She was very honest, up front, and encouraging about her services, and what she thought of my birth plan desires. Once we decided to work together, she was extremely patient with me as I worked with my insurance to get them to cover the care (although I was also willing to pay out of pocket)! She was very responsive to my texts and calls; she had a back up doula for me during a time when there was a chance she might not have been able to support my labor should I have gone into labor while she was away. Thankfully she was present during the time I decided to have baby and was willing to roll with my changes in birth plan. She supported me 100% through my original plan and the one that actually happened. Even in the postpartum phase she’s been checking on me and supporting my healing process.
