My role as a newborn care specialist and postpartum doula is to support parents and provide nurturing, responsive care to infants in their first 4 months of life (age adjusted.) I offer evidence-based care and resources, and help set realistic expectations for those early days with a newborn (or multiple babies.) It’s an honor to help you become more confident in yourself, help you get the rest you need, and support your goals for your family’s life. Whether your priority is setting routines, stretching sleep durations, maximizing your milk supply, or learning the basics of baby care - I’m here to respectfully partner with you along the way. In time, you’ll believe that you know your baby best and you’re what they need the most. Services offered include daytime or overnight newborn care, postpartum support, lactation education, parent instruction on infant safety, developmental milestones, hygiene, sleep shaping, feeding, infant routines, nursery set-up, and recognizing the signs of postpartum mood and anxiety disorders (this is strictly educational.) While I encourage self monitoring and action planning for postpartum mood disorders as early as possible, I do not diagnose or treat any conditions. I am not a licensed medical professional. On a case-by-case basis, I offer sleep coaching (through video, phone call, or in-person consultations), and sleep training (in-person support for no more than 4 nights/days only if an infant is at least 5 months old, and at least 8 hours per night.) Sleep conditioning (in which I support your family in setting a healthy sleep foundation and form sustainable routines) is a complimentary part of my NCS services. In many cases, more rigorous “sleep training” is not necessarily needed. I’m a Safe Sleep Ambassador trained through Cribs for Kids. Please be advised that I strictly adhere to the American Academy of Pediatrics Safe Sleep Recommendations while babies are in my care: this includes placing baby to sleep alone, on their back - on a firm, flat sleep surface that is free of objects - in a crib/pack n’ play/bassinet without bumpers, blankets, pacifier clips, or toys. I support all types of families that follow various traditions, practices, and philosophies without judgement. As a professional and non-family member, it’s especially important I model and adhere to AAP recommendations and evidence-based practices during the time I work.

Kayla is an amazing doula who helped with our newborn twins girls for 5 months. She came 3 nights a week and by the end of the contract the babies were sleeping through the night!! The whole experience was so much better than I even imagined. I was so terrified of sleepless nights with twins while also taking care of our 3 year old during the day. Kayla supported us through all of it, and I cannot be more thankful.

Hello! My name is Lindsey am a Certified Postpartum Doula located in Huntington Beach CA. I am also a Lactation Educator and Infant Nanny. I am married and a mother of two teenage boys . I love animals and reading. My passion is mothering the mother during the postpartum time through nutrition, care, and non judgmental emotional support.

We are so grateful to have had Lindsey as our night nanny during the first six weeks postpartum. Bringing home a newborn can feel overwhelming, but Lindsey gave us such a sense of calm and confidence from the very beginning. She was incredibly trustworthy, dependable, and knowledgeable, which made it so much easier for us to rest knowing our baby was in such capable hands overnight. One of the things we appreciated most was her support with breastfeeding. Lindsey was patient, encouraging, and full of practical advice that helped make the process far less stressful during those early weeks. Her guidance and reassurance were invaluable, especially during the middle-of-the-night feedings when emotions and exhaustion can run high. Beyond her expertise, Lindsey was warm, kind, and truly cared about both our baby and our wellbeing as new parents. She made such a positive impact on our postpartum experience, and we honestly can’t imagine those first weeks without her support. We would wholeheartedly recommend Lindsey to any family looking for an exceptional doula or night nanny.

I’m certified Postpartum Night Doula since 2016 , working in San Francisco & Bay Area. My Husband , 3 kids & I just bought a house in Sacramento county 💖💪🏻 I just finished up sleep training a set of twins and would like to book my next growing family’s in the Sacramento & surrounding areas. I’m registered with Trustline, Carrot Insurance approved, up to date with liability insurance as well as Adult & Pediatric CPR /AED certification. I’ve got years of continuous hands on experience working with Singletons , multiple sets twins & one set of triplets . I’m hoping to continue my career & passion back home. Nurturing families through the 4th trimester, setting up a solid & smooth foundation. ✨The most rewarding part of my “job” is guiding new parents through the first stages of Motherhood, giving parents the confidence & assurance that they’ve got this!! It goes by so quickly! Especially after birth… the hormones, fear & doubt are SO real! People rarely talk about the postpartum experience.

Jay has been an absolute lifesaver for our family. She not only provided exceptional night doula support—handling feeds, diaper changes, and soothing Elliott through the night—but also played a huge role in helping us successfully sleep train him. Her approach was calm, thoughtful, and incredibly effective. She guided us through the process with confidence, gave us practical tools, and adjusted to Elliott’s needs while also supporting us as parents. Thanks to her, Elliott is sleeping so much better, and we feel more rested and confident. We truly couldn’t have done this without her and would highly recommend Jay to any family looking for both compassionate overnight care and expert sleep support.

We are beyond grateful to have had Andrea by our side. She prepared me so well for birth and has continued to support us postpartum with her knowledge, experience, and thoughtful guidance. During labor, she was an incredible source of calm and strength. She empowered us to make our own informed decisions, always making sure we understood our options. She worked seamlessly with the doctors and nurses while also advocating for our wishes. She seemed to know exactly what I needed, even before I did, and communicated with the medical team when I couldn’t. Andrea made us feel safe, supported, and truly cared for throughout our journey. We couldn’t have asked for a better doula, and we will always be grateful for everything she did for our family.

Childbirth has always been very intertwined with my life. I owe some of that to my mother, who planned home births for all of her children. I am the oldest of us four, and my labor was long and hard. I grew up hearing the story of the four day marathon of labor, hospital transfer, and, ultimately, the beautiful birth that brought me into the world. My brother was born when I was almost three, on a hot July day. I have some memories of this day, but nothing very clear. My mom remembers me bringing her a cool glass of water between contractions. Some might say I became a doula that day. When I was 6, my mom became pregnant again. I was absolutely thrilled to be having a baby sister. I remember going to midwife appointments at the midwife’s home in Sebastopol, listening to my sister’s heartbeat, and enjoying every moment of it. Her labor started some time during the night. This time, it was Winter. My mom spent most of her labor in front of the woodburning stove in our living room with my dad applying counter pressure to her back. I remember she had thigh high socks to wear specifically for labor, because she didn’t want to wear pants, but knew her legs would be cold. In the early afternoon, she began pushing on our couch. The midwives were always close by, creating a sense of safety and calm, one of them singing as my sister was born. I stood at the end of the couch, and saw my sister’s head slowly emerge, and then the rest of her body slip out. She immediately went to my mom’s chest and crawled to the breast herself. I was entranced by birth at this moment. In the weeks after, I told my mom I wanted to become a midwife. The last baby was born when I was 10 years old. I was again elated to be around pregnancy and looking forward to the birth. My mom labored all through the night, and when the sun rose, her intuition told her she needed to go to the hospital and get some rest. No one thinks that a fourth baby will take 17 hours to be born, but sometimes they do! After my mom got a few hours of rest, my grandparents took us to the hospital to join her. She felt that birth was a family affair, and believed that children should be a part of birth. I also would have been furious with her if I didn’t get to be there. My sister entered the world, and I got to cut the umbilical cord and be the first to hold her after my mom. I took my first doula training with Connie Sultana in 2024 and since then have attended almost 50 births. I am in constant pursuit of knowledge, each birth teaching me something different. I am now a Cornerstone Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula and Evidence Based Birth® instructor. I am always striving to be able to provide the best support I can for my clients. I am currently pursuing becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife. As of 2026, I have completed nursing prerequisite courses, including biology, chemistry anatomy, physiology, and microbiology and look forward to beginning an RN program in Fall of 2026. I use the knowledge I have gained of the human body through my formal education to help inform the support I provide so that my clients can understand what is happening with their body and their baby. For most people, childbirth is the time in their lives where they will be asked to be the most medically literate, which is intimidating for most working outside of healthcare. The education I have has given me the language and tools to communicate and learn from nurses, midwives, and doctors during births, so that I can understand and interpret information for my clients. After becoming a registered nurse, I plan to attend graduate school to obtain my degree and certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife and practice in a hospital based setting.

Maggie is a remarkable human being and Doula! With my planned C-section, I wasn’t sure how a doula would be able to support my experience. Before my son’s birth she provided a whole binder full of helpful resources and an easy template for creating a birthing plan. At the hospital before my surgery she was a wonderful advocate and made sure all my providers were on the same page. Her calming presence, along with the grounding exercises she lead, helped me go into my birth in the right headspace. In the post-op room she was there to help my baby boy get a good latch right away. Breastfeeding has been such a positive experience and I have Maggie to thank for that! I always looked forward to her visits as she is a true baby whisperer. Maggie was super supportive with tasks like nail trimming, pumping, bottle feeding, bathing, and holding the baby so I could tend to myself. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

I am here to help you have the birth experience you want. Whether it is an unmedicated birth, or you get an epidural, you are at home or at a hospital. I am here to support you. I am not here to judge anyone’s decisions or beliefs. My job is to support you in your choices. It is your birth experience let’s do it your way. When it comes to my clients I like to have a gentle touch, and a grounding presence. I also find adding in a dash of humor here and there helps lighten the mood. I am a strong ally of the LBGTQIA+ community, and would be more than happy to take on and support any clients who are part of that community. My doula experience began at UCSD through the Hearts and Hands program, and I still volunteer there today. I have taken childbirth education classes, breastfeeding classes, Newborn Care classes, and I am Infant CPR and First Aid certified.

As a first-time mom who planned for an unmedicated vaginal delivery, it was important for me to have a doula. We chose Arri to support us and deliver our baby girl in early September. It was such a pleasure to work with her and have her be by our side in the last trimester; it made me feel so confident that we can tackle anything that comes our way. Arri was such a calm spirit, very knowledgeable about all the techniques that my husband and I can use throughout the last month of pregnancy. We learned a lot through the initial meetings, and she validated that we were learning the right things in our research and classes. Her hands-on approach to showing us laboring positions and also all the tips and tricks to having the house ready for our newborn was so useful! Having Arri on call and responsive via text during my last few weeks was important to have a knowledgeable voice, guiding me and my husband through every step of the way. She coached and guided me through my labor contractions and help us move through early laboring at home, to sending ourselves to Sharp March Birch. Having Arri there for the delivery was exactly what I hoped for, a grounding person who wasn’t one of the multiple nurses and doctors who were buzzing in and out of the room. She knew my birth preferences, and supported my husband and I throughout the entire experience and was there with us from start to finish all the way through the recovery room. Definitely chat with Arri to be your doula, she was great!

Brie Walsh

As a postpartum doula, I’m committed to offering gentle, reliable support that helps your family feel grounded, confident, and truly cared for after birth. I believe it truly does take a village! Through my own journey with a spirited toddler, I’ve experienced firsthand how transformative (and challenging) the shift into parenthood can be. For the past two years I have worked as a full-spectrum doula, now devoting most of my practice to supporting families in the postpartum period, and have had the privilege of serving more than fifty postpartum families. My calling to this work is deeply personal. Having lost my own mother during adolescence, I grew into my maternal nature early. That experience shaped my understanding of how essential nurturing, presence, and steady support truly are, especially during the vulnerable days and weeks after birth. I bring that perspective into every home I serve. My approach is grounded, compassionate, and practical. I aim to create a calm, affirming space where parents can rest, heal, learn, and feel genuinely cared for. At the heart of my work is a simple mission: to make a meaningful difference for families during one of the most tender and powerful transitions of their lives.

Brie worked with us as our post-partum doula and I could not have been more thankful to have found her! She did nights with us, at first 3 nights/week for 6 weeks and then we hired her for an additional 2 nights/week for 10 weeks because she was just that wonderful! She was so calm and caring. On the nights she worked with us, she would let herself in to our house, take our daughter and send us to bed and my husband and I both slept soundly knowing that our baby was in good hands which allowed us to feel better and be so much more present during the day. When our daughter needed to feed, Brie would bring her to me or bring me my pumps and then when I was done, I would text Brie and she would come in and take back over and I got to go back to sleep. Brie helped with tasks during the night such as doing laundry and even made me breakfast in the mornings before she left to ensure I would eat. I have recommended Brie to all of my friends and many of gone on to work with her and also had positive things to say. I cannot recommend her enough and if we were lucky enough to have another child in the future would 1000% want to work with her again!
