I am in need of a doula to guide myself and my husband, Shaheen, through the pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum period (including breastfeeding). We are hoping you can provide us with specific, actionable ways for Shaheen to support me during pregnancy, especially during labor, and during the postpartum period. I hope to labor at home as long as possible, avoid the epidural if possible, and I really would like to avoid a C-section. I am eager to learn about natural birthing techniques and positions that work with my body and gravity. I plan to give birth at a hospital. As a backup, I would like to have a home birth. A home birth was my first option but baby had an arrhythmia which is the reason I chose hospital first at this point. I do have medical insurance to cover my hospital birth. I don’t have a preference on medication or epidural as this is my first pregnancy and I don’t want to commit one way or another

I’ll be giving birth at Pomona Medical Center. I don’t really have much of a budget. I want to labor for as long as possible without medication and have delayed cord clamping and have video of birth, help with pictures. And I want to have trust built before labor and time spent beforehand.
